Springtime in Calabria brings forth a beautiful panorama of flowers. The senses are filled with delicate scents and beautiful colors. Fields of bright red Poppies growing wild along the road. And the flowers that grow out of stone walls and the hardened stone next to a stoop or doorway. I am newly amazed every time I stumble upon these wonders of nature thriving under very difficult circumstances. The beauty of the flowers is indescribable and breath taking. I’ve captured each one through the lens of my camera to share with you. And to look at when I want to remember the beautiful land that is Calabria.
